Position Details

The Warrenville Fire Protection District is seeking applicants for the position of part-time Firefighter/Paramedic to work 12 and/or 24 hour shifts.

The Warrenville Fire Protection District is located 24 miles west of Chicago in DuPage County and is bordered by Aurora, Naperville, Lisle, West Chicago, and Winfield. The Warrenville Fire Protection District is a member of MABAS Division 16. The fire district covers over 18 square miles of residential, commercial and medium high rise buildings serving a population of 20,000 residents. The Warrenville Fire Protection District responds to an average of 1800 calls per year.

Requirements:

• Basic Ops Firefighter/Firefighter II
• IDPH licensed EMT-Paramedic
• Valid Illinois Driver's license
• CPAT card with ladder climb
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pre-employment background check
• Pre-employment physical
