We are looking for a law enforcement operations and security expert to provide investigations, analysis, reports, and testimony to help resolve litigation and insurance claims.

The police procedures and security experts at Robson Forensic investigate a broad range of incidents to determine if security measures or law enforcement actions contributed to the cause(s) of injury, injustice, or financial loss. Case assignments are highly varied, but frequently involve assaults at commercial properties; and injuries or deaths associated with interdictions, detainments, or pursuits. Our experts play a significant role in resolving complex disputes affecting individuals and society.

Potential areas for police practices and procedures analysis include:

• Criminal arrests
• Search and seizure
• Use of force
• Pursuits
• Operation of emergency vehicles
• Motor vehicle stops
• Traffic crash investigations
• Incidents pertaining to alcohol and drug liability
• Crime scene investigations
• Firearms and range operations
• Jail operations
• Officer safety
• Law enforcement training 

Areas of potential security analysis include:

• Security assessments
• Active and passive security measures
• Training of security personnel
• Pursuits
• Detainments
• Collaboration with law enforcement 

The ideal candidate:

• Will have broad experience in law enforcement and security.
• Expertise should include practical application of law enforcement procedures and case law pertaining to use of force, vehicle operation, 4th amendment detentions, traffic control, training, and officer safety.
• Experience in premises security, such as the implementation of crime prevention measures, risk and security assessment, or private security, in some capacity, is preferred, but not necessary. 

LOCATION:

Near any of our offices in MA, NJ, NY, or PA.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in relevant field, such as Criminal Justice
• Law enforcement experience
• Crime prevention or security experience is a plus
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team
• Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills
