Currently starting salary for a Shift Supervisor is $66,872.00 annually. Yearly increases are based on a union contract.
QuadCom is a multi-jurisdictional, Police/Fire/9-1-1 Dispatch Center that provides emergency communications to ten municipal police and fire departments/fire protection districts located in northern Kane County, Illinois. QuadCom is also the primary dispatch center for MABAS Division 2.
QuadCom staffs 14 full time telecommunicators, three of which are Shift Supervisors. Shifts run from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am with 30 minutes pay-back training time at the beginning of each shift. This allows for the 5 days on – 2 days off, and five days on – 3 days off (5/2-5/3) rotating schedule. After training, the supervisor will be assigned to a permanent shift, which is currently midnights. Shift bids occur annually in September of each year.

The successful candidate must pass a CritiCall test, written exam, essay exam, oral interview before a panel of Public Safety Professionals, and is subject to the Director's review. Any job offers are contingent upon background investigation and Psychological Exam.
Upon receiving a conditional job offer, a physical examination including a drug screen and hearing test must be completed.
