This is a Monday – Friday, 1st shift, $30 variable hour position.

Position Details

Off Duty Police for Security – Indianapolis, IN

Under the direction of a supervisor, the Off-Duty Police Officer performs general security work to protect persons and property and to prevent losses due to accidents and incidents. Off-Duty Police Officer can service institutional, industrial or commercial property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.

Duties may include:

Patrol of buildings and grounds of site
Watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards
Write incident reports
Record data such as property damage
Prohibiting unauthorized persons from entering
Warning violators of rule infractions

Qualifications:

Must have firearm and firearm certification
Never convicted of a felony
Must have police badge / arresting powers
No misdemeanor in past three years
Possess a valid driver license
Possess a valid gun permit
Must be current, sworn Indiana Law Enforcement position with arresting

Must meet the following:

Police officer
Dependable transportation
Stand for long period of time
Read, write and speak English
Other client specific prerequisites
